Rebellion Against Wolves In Sheep’s Clothing Is An Act Of Holiness

We must remember that the re-emergence of the Church Of Christ in 1914 was born from an act of rebellion by brother Felix Y. Manalo. That statement is not meant to be an insult but rather an accolade to biblical integrity. Brother Felix Y. Manalo rebelled against the erroneous biblical interpretations of the Catholic and the Protestant churches and was proven to be on the right side of history through logical and specific reasoning of scripture. Not only did the pioneering members applaud FYM’s act of rebellion against tyrannical religious forces, they with God’s guidance accepted him to be the Lord’s messenger.

Rebellion can be an act of holiness if you’re rebelling against wolves in sheep’s clothing. Which brings us to a conclusion. Since EVM and the EVM administration are wolves in sheep’s clothing, which many have proven to be true through their continuous misuse of the bible and tyrannical policies, not being “ONE With EVM” does not mean you are not one with God and Christ.

We must be reminded that both biblical history and world history is rampant with examples of rebellion against wolves in sheep’s clothing. The greatest example of a “rebellious leader” was none other than Christ himself. He rebelled against the High Priests when they criticized him for performing miracles on the Sabbath, he rebelled against the unsympathetic sinners who wanted to stone an adulteress to death, and ultimately Christ rebelled through Civil Disobedience against the Jewish population, Roman government, and police officials, costing him his life. (John 9: 14,1-41, John 8:1-11, Matt. 27: 1-55)

Let me be clear. I am in no way encouraging people to break the laws of the land. However, there are exceptions to the rule when doing the right thing doesn’t always mean you perform a lawful act. Obedience to the laws of the land isn’t always a substitute for morality. Sometimes to do the right thing, to do the holy thing, you have to break the law. There was once a time in the not too distant past when it was legal to own slaves in America. I think we can all agree that rebelling against the legal ownership, enslavement, and torture of another human being is not only the right thing to do, but also the Christian thing to do. And yet, owning slaves was completely legal. And that’s because the laws were wrong. The laws were wrong because the men who created those laws were wolves in sheep’s clothing.

The radical policies spearheaded by EVM and the EVM administration includes dictatorial acts including harassment, unjust expulsions of families including children and infants, online bullying, illegal detention, and kidnapping. These tyrannically oppressive policies are akin to divisive laws set up by radical politicians of power such as the enslavement of African American’s and the segregation of the Jews during wartime. If true members of the church don’t stand up and rebel against dictatorial abuses of power like the advocates during The Civil Rights era, then you should fear the chilling result of the Prisoners Of War during the 2^nd world war.

Does that sound far-fetched? Maybe. Maybe not. If you think the EVM administration isn’t capable of murder, I certainly hope you’re right. However, no one can deny the fact that harassment leads to violence. No one can deny the fact that kidnapping leads to murder. We have to remember the chilling fact that much of the concentration camps in Germany were discovered after the war had already ended. Why? Because before it happened, not enough people believed it could ever happen. And when it was happening, not enough people spoke up to tell truth to power. One of the Roman Soldier’s who crucified Christ considered him to be a rebel, only to realize Christ was surely the Son Of God after taking His life. (Matt. 27:54) In both cases, it was too late. Irreparable damage was done. Death and destruction were done.

The conclusion is this. There needs to be enough true members brave and courageous enough to stand up against these wolves in sheep’s clothing and speak truth to power! Otherwise, the reformation will be lost. Let’s be blunt. We are losing the fight. Although there are many brave members in this fight, there is not enough. But, the fight can be won! God has to work through you, through your actions, otherwise, it will be too late and all will be lost. The fate of this reformation is in your hands. That’s the power you have!
